Banking App doesn't work

    The Banking App stopped working on my phone - it wouldn't allow me to enter my security details to log on. I deleted it, but I cannot reinstall it as the Google Play Store produces a warning message:

    "Recent data from similar devices show that this app may stop working on your device."

    I am now unable to buy anything online using my Tesco Credit Card as I can't open the app to confirm the purchase. The Tesco website Help page states that you can use a One Time Passcode from your phone if you don't have the app, but this isn't offered if I try to purchase anything online.

    Can my Credit Card account be reset to indicate that I don't have the app, and to use a OTP instead?

    @GivingUp Hey there, thanks for getting in touch! I'm sorry to hear your device is no longer compatible with the mobile app.

    If you call the Credit Card team they'll be able to arrange for you to verify purchases by SMS. You can reach them on 0345 300 4278 (Mon - Fri: 8am to 9pm, Sat - Sun: 8am - 6pm) and they'll be happy to help.

    To speak to one of my colleagues, please choose option 2 and enter your security details, then press 0. If you don't have any details to hand, just press 0 and you will then be passed through.
