Can I switch my current account if I am overdrawn?

Yes, you can switch your account if you're overdrawn, but we can't switch your overdraft.


We may be able to offer you a new overdraft, subject to our normal lending criteria.


However, we can't guarantee that you'll be offered an overdraft or, that you'll be offered the same amount that you owe on your old account.


You'll have to make separate arrangements to repay your old bank or building society what you owe.


You can apply for an overdraft with us when you apply for a current account or through Online Banking once your account is open.
