My pet insurance premium was debited off my card twice in succession on 14/08/20. Proof of this was emailed to Tesco on 27/08/20 who replied and said it was being forwarded to the refund team and I should hear back within 5 business days. I did not hear back so emailed again on 08/09/20 asking what the status of the refund was and got a reply on 10/09/20 saying the accounts team are still looking into it and will contact me when they have more information. As far as I'm concerned they have all the information, dates, times and amounts of transactions they need to simply look at their own bank account and see the problem. Tesco have had my money for 5 weeks now and no communication has been forthcoming, as it should be according to their complaints procedure, unless I initiate it first. I gave Tesco a deadline of 22/09/20 to have it resolved but I don't hold out much hope of this being achieved. It is a joke and simple to resolve.

Processing documents can take a little longer than usual due to the recent demands and high volume of correspondence to work through. Once documents are received and worked, it can take 5 working days for refunds to be returned. If you have still not heard anything, then do let us know - Saqib

Unfortunately I have just found out from the private message thread that they cannot help me because they don't deal with pet insurance and that I have to phone the pet insurance team. This is some kind of joke.

I have been emailing the pet insurance team and have had replies from three different Digital Customer Managers. The last one was waiting to hear about timeframes and method of how the refund was to be paid back. breach of these Terms of Service, the House Rules or other related agreements or guidelines;
request by law enforcement or other government agencies;
a request by you;
unexpected technical issue or problem; and
extended periods of inactivity.
Termination of your registration includes removal of access to all offerings within Your Community and may also prevent you from engaging in further use of Your Community. Furthermore, you agree that neither us nor the moderators shall be liable to you or any third-party for any termination of your registration or access to Your Community.
Rights to content
When you upload or submit content (such as text, data, images or names, when permitted) to Your Community, you grant us a right to use, copy, modify, publish or otherwise distribute that content, including any personal information that may be included in the content, for any purpose, including, without limiting the foregoing, the administration and management of Your Community, marketing including in social media, analytical purposes, and new product or service development. You further agree that if you wish to collect or use information or content posted or relating to other Your Community users, you must first obtain the relevant user's consent and make it clear that you (and not Tesco Bank) are collecting their information, the reason for which you're collecting their information and explain the purpose for which the information will be used.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless from and against any and all losses, damages, liabilities and costs (including, without limitation, settlement costs and any legal or other fees and expenses for investigating or defending any actions or threatened actions) incurred by the Indemnified Parties in connection with any claim arising out of any breach by you of these Terms of Service or the House Rules or claims arising from your content or conduct.
