What happens if I get a refund on my card when the balance is £0?

I have made a large clothes order on my credit card and it's likely that I will have to return some of the items. I need to pay my balance by 1st May and I doubt a refund from the clothes retailer would clear back onto the credit card by then. So what happens if the money is refunded when my balance is £0? Is there a way to get this extra money transferred to my current account (not a tesco current account)? A friend suggested just waiting until any refunds come in and then paying the balance off so I know how much I owe, but I would not want to do this after my payment due date as obviously I don't want to be charged interest. Thanks

Hi , thanks for getting in touch! If you were to receive a refund onto your card when the current balance was £0.00, then this would put your account into credit. If this happens we'd need you to give us a call to arrange for the credit balance to be returned to your current account, without incurring any charges :)
