Refer a friend allows customers to introduce one or more of their friends to Tesco Bank. If you and your friend register for Refer a friend and your friend takes out one of the products below within 12 months of registration, we'll give you and your friend a choice of Tesco eGift Card or Tesco Clubcard points.
The following products are eligible for Refer a friend:
Tesco Bank Credit Card
Tesco Bank Car Insurance policy
Tesco Bank Home Insurance combined buildings & contents policy
Tesco Bank Pet Insurance Premier, Extra, or Standard Cover policy
Existing insurance policies being renewed, and retrieved insurance quotations will not be eligible for a reward. Tesco Bank Box Insurance, Tesco Bank Pet Insurance Accident and Injury cover, Tesco Bank Home Insurance buildings only or contents only cover are all excluded. The Refer a friend reward won't be paid if you take advantage of any other Tesco Bank offer.
If you both registered by the 9 July 2018, the reward will be a £20 Tesco eGift Card or 2000 Clubcard points. If you or your friend registered for Refer a friend after the 9 July 2018, the reward will be a choice of a £10 Tesco eGift Card or 1000 Clubcard points.
We will send you an email so you can choose your reward once your friend’s application has been validated (this will take at least 30 days from their credit card being activated, or insurance policy coming into effect).
If you choose a Tesco eGift Card, it will be emailed to you within two working days of choosing your reward.
If you choose Tesco Clubcard points, you will need to provide your Clubcard number. Clubcard points will appear on your next issued Clubcard statement. If your next statement is generated within 20 days of choosing your reward, you might not see your points until your next statement after that.
You will have six months from the date that the reward selection email is sent to claim your reward. After six months the reward will no longer be redeemable.
You can refer as many friends as you like, but you will be limited to six rewards in a twelve month period. If you refer more than six friends, they’ll still get their reward as long as all the conditions are met.
There is a chance it accidentally ended up in their junk email folder. We take every measure to stop this from happening, but we can’t guarantee it. Ask your friend to check the junk mail folder in their email account. If the email isn’t there, please repeat the referral process from the start and ask your friend to make sure that emails from firstname.lastname@example.org aren’t blocked.
Refer a friend is only available to existing Tesco Bank customers. If you have been referred by an existing customer, you will then be eligible to refer your friends once your credit card is activated, or your insurance policy has come into effect.
