Can I go paperless?

You can choose to go paperless if you have a Credit Card, Savings or Current Account. Simply log in to Online Banking and select Paperless from the Settings menu at the top of the page.


You can view, print and save your statements and documents securely through Online Banking and in our app. Your online statements will look exactly the same and we’ll send you an email when there’s a document or statement ready for you to view.


You’ll still be able to download your transactions and statements from our Online Banking in the same way you did before.


If you’re using our app, you can go to the settings menu and select the Paperless option. Here you can toggle on or off the accounts you want to go paperless whenever you want.


Sent bank statements by post

 Hi @LORETO49 you can choose to have postal documents or to go paperless through your online banking or if you require a copy of your statements posted, please send a private message to @Tesco-Bank with your name, DOB and postcode with a space between each character.

Your set-up system is rediculasly diifcult.  I have spent 4 hours (no exageration) trying to set up a paperler document.  Still can't get it... I rang help twice with no luck...

I wish to get paper statements please. I have been charged £12 for late payment as I never received statement or notification that payment was due.

@puzzle sorry to hear that you've continued to have problems setting up paperless documents. Can you please give us a call on 0345 300 4278 (24/7) for credit cards, or 0345 835 3353 (24/7) for current accounts, so we can resolve this for you.


@Melvynmoore if you follow the instructions in the FAQ above, selecting that you would like paper statements to arrive. This will amend your account to send paper statements to your registered home address.

When I try to go paperless I get the message " Error, sorry unable to update your paperless preference on your credit card. Please try later." I have tried several times and get the same response. Can you explain why this should be?

If you've followed the steps above @Brian2852, I'm not sure why you'd be unable to go paperless. If you call us on 0345 300 3511, available 24/7, our Online team can check into this for you and let you know what's going on.

Even though I have signed up for Paperless (have been paperless almost ever since I started with the Bank), I have recently started receiving Monthly Savings Statements in the post. I appreciate the T&Cs around this have changed recently, but is there anyway I can stop these paper Savings statements not coming through in the post? Thanks for your help.

Hi @rg76, I'm afraid that with the recent changes we're not able to turn off paper statements. However, if this changes we will be in contact to let you know.
