We will provide you with a statement free of charge each month when you've had any activity on your account excluding credit interest.   We'll also provide you with an annual statement each June. If you have opted to go paperless on your account, we'll contact you by email or text to let you know that your statement is ready to view electronically.

Yes. Both parties will need to register for Online Banking separately and set up individual security details. If you already have an Instant Access Savings Account and want to add a joint account holder, please call us on 0345 6785678*. Please note that both parties must be present during the call for security purposes. Our Instant Access Savings Account Terms and Conditions changed with effect from 14 June 2019. Some of the changes include the following: Payment Service Regulations (PSD2) – we’ve made changes to remove reference to authorised third party providers, more information on these can be found in your service channel Terms and Conditions. Yes. Using your Instant Access Savings Account card you can deposit cash at the Tesco Customer Service Desk in selected UK Tesco stores (for availability please see Banking in Tesco Stores).   Please note we cannot accept coins or £1 notes and the maximum daily amount that can be deposited is £5,000.

You can access your Certificate of Interest in your document store in Online Banking after 12th April each year. Due to volumes processed at this time, it can sometimes take a day or two to appear. Alternatively, you can see the amount of interest you have been paid in your transactions, which you can view in Online Banking or the Mobile App. We no longer automatically issue a Certificate of Interest via post; however, one can be provided on request. If your account is closed this will not be available in your document store and you will need to contact us

You can use any Tesco Bank or LINK cash machines to withdraw up to £300 per day free of charge.   You can withdraw up to £500 per day at the customer service desk free of charge in selected UK Tesco stores (for availability please see Banking in Tesco Stores ).

Please contact our Lost and Stolen helpline which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A member of our Customer Service team will arrange to cancel your card and send you a new one which will arrive within 5 to 7 business days. A new PIN will be issued and arrive separately within 3 to 5 business days. If your card is lost or stolen, please call the Savings Team immediately on 0345 678 5678*. The tax year runs from 6th April to 5th April. The figure on your annual summary of interest is a total of the interest paid into your account during this period. If you have interest paid monthly, you will receive this on the last day of each month. The interest on your summary is the total of these monthly payments. If you have interest paid annually, interest is paid into your account on the last day of April each year. This means that the summary you receive in April 2020 will show interest paid into your account in April 2019.

Once your application is submitted, we will send you your Welcome Pack. This contains information on how to use the account and helpline numbers if you need to contact us. If we need more information to confirm your identity we will write to you and explain what we need. We will process your application as soon as we have received this from you. We'll also ask you to register for Online Banking by requesting a Temporary Security Number from our Online Helpdesk on 0345 300 3511*. This will enable you to register securely and we'll send you this by post or SMS. When you receive it, visit our Login page and select Sign up.
