credit limit increase

HI, I want to request and increase of credit limit but when I tried to do that online I get the following message:'Unfortunately, we can't approve your request for an increase to your credit limit. This is because you must have used your card within the last 12 months to qualify for a credit limit increase.

Our records indicate that your Tesco Bank Credit Card has been inactive for more than 12 months.' But I got this credit card starting this month and have used the card this month. SO why it says that my card is inactive? Thanks

    Hi

As this is a new Credit Card which hasn't been opened for 12 or more months, you would not be eligable for a credit limit increase.

I'm sorry the message isn't clear regarding this. If a statement has not yet been produced, the online system will interpret this as inactivity.

The message you received is incorrect. I will pass on your comments as feedback regarding this as it may come across as confusing.

    Hope this helps,
