What fees do you charge?

Our administration fees are as follows:

  • £30 if your policy is cancelled, and a telematics box (an in-tele-box) has not been fitted to your car
  • £80 if your policy is cancelled, and an in-tele-box has already been fitted to your car, or had been fitted to a car you previously insured with Tesco Bank Box Insurance
  • £90 via our Service Centre or £85 via Your Portal, if you change your car and a black box has already been fitted to your car
  • £25 via our Service Centre, if you change your overnight parking address
  • £25 via our Service Centre or £5 via Your Portal if you add/remove a driver to/from your policy

If you make more than one change at once, you will only have to pay one fee (whichever is the highest).

Insurance Premium Tax will be charged or refunded at the appropriate rate. Please note that changes may result in an increase or decrease in premium.



Will the annual premium change (go down) if I make an address change?

(which would result in a lower annual premium if I was to get a quote online with the new address)

Hi @chanlewis8, thanks for getting in touch. There can be charges when you make changes to your policy, and the price of the policy can increase or decrease depending on your current underwriter. Call the Box team directly on 0330 022 2202, available Monday to Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday 9am-4pm and Sunday 10am-4pm, and they can help.
