What fees do you charge?

Our fees are as follows:

  • £30 if your policy is cancelled, and a telematics box (an in-tele-box) has not been fitted to your car

  • £80 if your policy is cancelled, and an in-tele-box has already been fitted to your car, or had been fitted to a car you previously insured with Tesco Bank Box Insurance

  • £90 if you change your car

  • £20 if you change your address, or add/remove a driver to/from your policy

These fees are in addition to any premium charge. If you make more than one change at the same time you will only have to pay one fee - whichever is the highest.



Will the annual premium change (go down) if I make an address change?

(which would result in a lower annual premium if I was to get a quote online with the new address)

Hi @chanlewis8, thanks for getting in touch. There can be charges when you make changes to your policy, and the price of the policy can increase or decrease depending on your current underwriter. Call the Box team directly on 0330 022 2202, available Monday to Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday 9am-4pm and Sunday 10am-4pm, and they can help.
