    Re: How do I activate my debit card?
    Once logged in, select the 'Manage' button.
    Select your current account on the overview page.
    Choose 'Activate your card' from the left-hand menu.
    Enter the last 4 digits of the long number on the front of your card to complete your activation.

    ​​​​​​​I called tesco as I thought it was a scam. I received it this week, its because of changes in eu law. I have found I can't use it online because the security code is rejected? I am waiting for tesco to tell me why?

    I got my card this week. Like you I couldn't understand why it was coming as the old card wasn't close to expiring.
    I'm having problems with the new card using it online as the cvv code on the back isn't recognised??
    ​​​​​​​Bit cross with Tesco at the moment!

    Hi @Kitten
    Cards are currently being replaced due to the security upgrading of the chip.
    If your card has been activated the card will work for contactless payments, but you should make a chip and pin transaction at an atm before use online.
