• Early payment before DD due.

I have made a payment to my credit card before the DD due date, there will still be a small amount left to take on the due date. Will the entire amount on the statement be taken from my bank account or just the outstanding balance? If the entire amount is taken can I get it reimbursed to my bank account as it is quite a large amount? Many thanks

Hi , thanks for getting in touch. If you make a payment towards your credit card, and you have a direct debit set up to take a fixed amount or your minimum payment, this would still collect unless you've paid your balance in full. Alternatively, if you have a direct debit set up to take your full statement balance, the amount you've paid would be deducted from the amount of your direct debit meaning it would also still collect unless your balance has been paid in full. I hope this helps :) - Brogan
