Exasperating Tesco Home Insurance problem

    Good morning
    I am having difficulties with talking to somebody at Tescos Insurance about making a very modest claim on my policy. I have had an insurance policy with them for at least five years and have never EVER made a claim and always paid up promptly when asked to renew. Now I have to make a tiny claim and I am finding it impossible to get anywhere near actually sorting it. Why? Because I have lost all my details in the virtual stratosphere. I cannot find anything, much less a current policy number. And so I am condemned to go round and round getting absolutely nowhere. I know I have a banking record of paying my policy upfront: I can prove I am still a customer. But I am completely unable to access anybody to help. Please could somebody advise?

    Hey @Cantorisbass, have you spoken to our Home Insurance team on 0345 246 2904 (Mon - Fri: 8am - 8pm, Sat - Sun: 9am - 2pm)? They should be able to assist further even if you don't have your policy number.
