Hi, I am interested in opening a tesco current bank account, but I have several questions to inquire: first, I am a full-time international student of University of Edinburgh and I live in Edinburgh, am I eligible for applying an account? Second, from your introduction I know that if I pay in £750 a month into the account, I can be exempted from the monthly fee, my question is do I need to maintain the bank balance above £750 during the whole month or I just need to finish this pay in. Hi there, you just need to pay in 750 each month, not maintain at this level through out. I am sure you would qualify, however they may have some terms/conditions you could look at on the website.

Good news, the Current Account no longer has a fee attached therefore there is not a requirement to pay in £750 or more.

As long as you have a permanent UK address, you would be eligible to apply :)
