    Can u drive someone else's vehicle if u have fully comprehensive cover on your own car

    Hi @Anayak2013

    If you have fully comprehensive car insurance cover it doesn't automatically mean that you can drive another person's vehicle.
    Driving Other Cars (DOC) insurance isn't usually included as part of a fully comprehensive policy. DOC is a clause on your policy that allows you to drive someone else’s car without being a named driver on their policy.

    The best thing is to check with your insurance provider.

    Hi Anayak2013

    The simple answer is NO you cannot drive someone elses's vehicle on your insurance.

    Driving other cars (DOC) is no longer a standard element of fully comprehensive cover.

    If you need to drive someone elses car, they can add you to their insurance policy as a named driver.
