Why have tesco replaced there stylish( Visa card ) with a MasterCard version that looks like one produced for a child’s game. Mine is not even contactless.

I empathise with you regarding your replacement card.
I'm sure Tesco will take your feedback onboard.
Great to know you thought the existing card was stylish, maybe Tesco will bring them back.
I think you will find that ypour card is contactless as Tesco do not do non contactless cards.

Is your card a credit card or a debit card?

All debit cards are contactless.
All newly issued MasterCard credit cards are contactless.
However contactless cards are not available to any of our Visa Credit Card customers.

Hey @MylesC, I'm sorry you don't like the design of the new card. However, your card is contactless. You will be able to find the symbol for this on the back of the card.

I'm sorry to hear that you don't like the design of the card. May I ask what you don't like about the card so I can record this as feedback? What would you like the card design to be?
