To register for Your Insurance Account we will need either a  mobile or landline number so we can send you a One Time Access Code. This code is to make sure only you have access to your insurance documents and access to make changes to your insurance policy.   If you do not have a number registered or the number we have listed is incorrect, you will need to contact us to update this.   You can request this by sending a message to our Facebook or Twitter account. Alternatively, you can call Customer Services to arrange this. This should only take a few minutes via Your Insurance Account. If completed online your premium may change but you won't have to pay the £25 administration fee. CAR INSURANCE Once you log in, click on the Make changes option Scroll down and click on Amend your details under the Your details section Select the date you want your change to take effect from, read the statements carefully and if accepted, click Confirm Complete all the details for your new address, please check all the information is correct before clicking Continue. Please note this will not process the change at this stage, you will be given the option to cancel on the next screen should you not want to go ahead You will then be presented with the cost to make the change and the option of adding any optional extras to your policy If you're happy and want to go ahead, click Go to checkout. If you do not want to go ahead, click Back to your account Once you have processed your change, you will be asked whether you want to update your contact details. Please click yes to ensure your correspondence address is also updated HOME INSURANCE Once you log in, click on the Make changes option Scroll down and click on Change address under the Your home section Select the date you want your change to take effect from, read the statements carefully and if accepted, click Confirm Complete all the details for your new address, check all the information is correct and scroll down to bottom of page If you want to change your correspondence address at the same time, you need to select yes to 'Do you also need to update your contact details?'. Please ensure all contact information, including the correspondence address is updated Please check all the information is correct before clicking Continue. This will not process the change at this stage, you will be given the option to cancel on the next screen should you not want to go ahead You will then be presented with the cost to make the change and the option of adding any optional extras to your policy If you're happy and want to go ahead, click Go to checkout. If you do not want to go ahead, click Back to your account Please note your correspondance address is the property you wish to have your documents posted to if your preferred delivery method is post, this may differ from the property you want to insure.

If you have chosen to receive your documents online, they will be available in Your Insurance Account.   If you have chosen to receive paper documents, please allow up to 7 working days for them to arrive.   You can view your documents immediately once you have registered for Your Insurance Account.

You can add an additional policy holder to your home insurance policy 24 hours a day via Your Insurance Account.   All you will need to know is the details of the additional policy holder, including date of birth and claims history and we can provide you with a quote. All changes made via Your Insurance Account will not incur an administration fee.   Once logged in, click Make changes. Scroll down and under Your policy holders, click Add joint policy holder. Select the date you want your change to take effect from, read the statements carefully and if accepted, click Confirm. Complete all the details, please check all the information is correct before clicking Continue. Please note this will not process the change at this stage, you will be given the option to cancel on the next screen should you not want to go ahead. You will then be presented with the cost to make the change and the option of adding any optional extras to your policy (also at an additional cost). If you're happy and want to go ahead, click Go to checkout. If you do not want to go ahead, click Back to your account.   If you do not want go ahead and need some time to think about the quote, this will be stored and can be accessed via Your saved change quotes on your account page.   To remove a joint policyholder:   Once logged in, click Make changes. Scroll down and under Your policy holders, click Amend joint policyholder. Select the date you want your change to take effect from, read the statements carefully and if accepted, click Confirm. Confirm whether your surname has changed since your last visit, and then select Remove joint policy holder on the right hand side of the screen. Please check all the information is correct before clicking Continue. Please note this will not process the change at this stage, you will be given the option to cancel on the next screen should you not want to go ahead. You will then be presented with the cost to make the change and the option of adding any optional extras to your policy (also at an additional cost) If you're happy and want to go ahead, click Go to checkout. If you do not want to go ahead, click Back to your account.

If you have made a change to your policy using Your Insurance Account and are entitled to a refund, where the refund goes will depend on how you pay for your policy.   Direct Debit: The refund will be spread across your remaining payments.   Annual: The refund will be processed back to the most recent card on your account. If this is an old card or from a closed account, the refund can only be processed to this card.

Scroll down to the Your drivers section Click on the Add another driver Select the date you want your change to take effect from, read the statements carefully and if accepted, click Confirm Complete all the details for the additional driver, please check all the information is correct before clicking Confirm driver's details. Please note this will not process the change at this stage, you will be given the option to cancel on the next screen should you not want to go ahead. On the next screen please confirm who will be the main driver, then click Continue or you have the option of clicking Make further change(s) You will then be presented with the cost to make the change and the option of adding any optional extras to your policy If you're happy and want to go ahead, click Go to checkout. If you do not want to go ahead, click Back to your account If you do not want go ahead and need some time to think about the quote, this will be stored and can be accessed via Your saved change quotes on your account page.

If you would like a copy of your documents, please log in to Your Insurance Account where you can download or print a copy.   Once you log in, click on 'View documents' Click on the document you wish to view, this will open as a PDF document You will then be able to save this document to your device or print   If you are not registered, please view our FAQ for more information on how to register.

You can find your policy number on any emails we send you or on the top right hand corner of your Policy Schedule. You will need this number to register for Your Insurance Account, and you may be asked for this when retrieving your username. Please note, we require the policy number, not 'Your Ref'. You will not be able to register with your reference number.

We ask for your first name, surname, date of birth, postcode and policy number to find your policy so that you can be registered on Your Insurance Account. If any of the information entered does not match the information we hold on your policy, you will need to contact us to update this before attempting to register again.  Please visit our contact us pages for  Car  and  Home  telephone numbers and opening hours. If you have a Tesco Bank Home Insurance policy and is underwritten by Tesco Underwriting, your policy starts with the letters TI.

If you have more than one Tesco Car or Home insurance policy you may see all of these when you first register for Your Insurance Account. If you do not see one or more of your policies when you log in, you will need to register these individually.   If you have multiple insurance products, then you cannot use the same username for each login.
