How do I update my additional driver details?

You can update your additional driver details for your car insurance policy 24 hours a day via Your Insurance Account. All changes made via Your Insurance Account will not incur an administration fee.

  • Once logged in, select the policy you want to make the change on and then click Make Changes
  • Click Amend/remove additional driver(s) from the drop down menu
  • Select the date you want your change to take effect from, read the statements carefully and if accepted, click Confirm.
  • Select which additional driver you want to amend and on the next screen you can make any required changes. Please check all the information is correct before clicking Confirm driver’s details. Please note this will not process the change at this stage, you will be given the option to cancel on the next screen should you not want to go ahead.
  • You will then return to the main additional drivers screen. Select another driver if you need to make a further change, or click Continue to be presented with the cost to make the change and the option of adding any optional extras to your policy (also at an additional cost).
  • If you're happy and want to go ahead, click Go to checkout. If you do not want to go ahead, click Back to your account.

My son is named as an additional driver on my insurance, with a provisional licence. He has now passed his test but there is no amend button next to his name on the insurance details.

Hi I have entered wrong details for my additional driver I had an email from yourselves and it's telling me to amend them via my insurance account but it is not letting me. Very frustrating as you are going to cancel the policy.

My wife is additional driver on my insurance but her date of birth is wrong. The year is right but wrong day and month. Do i need to alter this? 

I can't find option to do this in amendments.

I am wanting to exclude 1no driver from my policy before the renewal date.

Ive attempted to call this number **sensitive info removed** and also this one **sensitive info removed**0 several times but unfortunately despite my call being important to you there is no answer.  Can someone please advise how I can make these changes before the payment goes out?

To make any changes within the renewal cycle, you will need to call us as these can't be arranged online. I don’t have an amend option, will this change? I only accepted a quote yesterday?

What is the start date of your policy @ruscoe73? If your policy hasn't started then you'll need to wait until this starts before making a change - Thomas
