You can change your car 24 hours a day via Your Insurance Account. Should you decide to go ahead, your previous car will still be covered on the day of the change, up until midnight.
Although we can provide a quote without a car registration by using just the make and model, to go ahead with a change you must have this information.
Changing details on your insurance could increase the overall cost of your policy but no administration fee will be charged if you complete the change via Your Insurance Account.
If you have Tesco Bank Box Insurance you can change your car by calling 0330 022 2202 (Lines are open Monday to Friday 8am-9pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm. Calls may be recorded).

Somehow through a comparison website I have managed to insure my previous car (which I had a quote for previously) with you. Really not sure how I managed that butte deposit has been taken and documents issued. The policy starts on 1/4/18. Everywhere on the site says I can change the vehicle online but the option is simply not there in my account. Is this because the policy is not in effect yet? I find it difficult to cope on the phone.
Hi @royches, I'm afraid as the policy is not yet in effect you cannot make this change. Once your policy is live then you can log in via Your Insurance Account and make amendments. I hope this helps :)
Hi I have read the above thread and it all makes sence but what is the process of the black box? Can i take it off myself can the dealership fit it or myself or do you have to come out before? im looking at a part exchange and just wanted to know the procedure. :)
