How can I view my Car Insurance documents?

You can view your Car Insurance documents 24 hours a day via Your Insurance Account.


Not yet registered? It only takes a few minutes to register and you can view, download and print any of your policy documents straight away.

Once logged in to Your Insurance Account, please click View Documents. You will be presented with a list of all the documents available and the dates they are valid from.

Documents by post:

Documents sent in the post can take up to five working days to arrive.

Please note, when checking your documents you must ensure all your information is accurate and up to date as any incorrect information could leave you uninsured.

I am being asked for a telephone number to confirm my registration . How do I get this to you.

Hi, I was insured with Tesco the year before last, I have had a new insurance quote with Tesco for this year which I have accepted. When I log on to my account I can only see the previous policy details and not the new policy - how do I access my new policy? Thanks, Melissa

Hi @Mel3, thanks for getting in touch! It sounds like you may not be registered, can you try and register again using your new policy number. If you need any help with this please let us know.


It won't allow me to register with my new policy number as it says I already have a registered account but when logging in it only shows my expired policy? Thanks


It sounds like you might be using the same username, this can sometimes default to your email address. You would be required to change this to something different from the username you've used previously - Clare 


There is no option to change my user name? When I put in my details and new policy number it just says thay I am already registered and have a user name, no option to change it. Thanks


Can you please send us a message @CET with your full name, DOB, postcode and policy number. We will have a look into this further for you. 


Im having same problem. It won't allow me to register my car insurance, it says send one time acess code to my number. When i click that option it says there is error and registration is not complete and there is no message. Can u help please
