If you already have a Tesco Bank Car Insurance policy, details of your eligibility to drive another vehicle can be found on your Certificate of Motor Insurance (under section 5).

i need to cancel my insurance before it is renewed. pls could you provide an email address to allow mw to request this. i really dont like the way its automatically renewed. the onus being on me to call to cancel. thanks
Hi @genetteleigh, I'm sorry you're looking to cancel your policy. This isn't a request we can complete via social media, but if you give our Car Insurance team a call we'll be happy to arrange that for you. They're available on 0345 246 2895 or 0113 8209990 from a mobile, and our opening hours are 8am - 9pm Mon - Fri and 9am - 5pm Sat - Sun.
Alternatively, you can write to us requesting cancellation at: Freepost RSJB-RZZY-HTJB Tesco Bank Customer Service, P O Box 276, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE2 2BT. Please also include your policy number, DOB, address and a signature if you are writing.
As for the auto-renew, we have this in place to make sure that the chances of any of our customers driving without valid insurance is as reduced as possible. I can understand your issue though, and I'll make sure to pass on your comments.
Hi I am under the impression I am 3rd party on another vehicle as a named driver can you please confirm this?
Hi @LSimps10, thanks for your message. Named drivers are only able to drive the individual vehicle specified on the policy. If you wished to drive another car you would need to be added to that vehicles insurance policy and would not be covered under the Tesco Bank policy. I hope this information helps.
