How long does it take to settle a claim?

Some claims are more straightforward than others - when you call to register your claim the claims advisor will give you an indication of how long it’s likely to take to get the information needed to settle your claim. Provided the claim is within the terms of the policy, and we have all the information we require, Tesco Pet Insurance will aim to settle a claim promptly.

i dont agree with this atall ,? my claim went in two months ago, and it is still unresolved, only last week tesco wrote to me asking for information on what happened to cause the injury, this information should have been requested in the first week of the claim, i dont understand why it is taking so long its a very simple new injury claim,


but it is really dragging out now and the vets are waiting to be paid, im not impressed Tesco sort this soon please



Hi Neil, I'm sorry to hear that your claim hasn't been resolved as quick as you hoped. It is always within the company’s interest to investigate and resolve claims as quickly as possible. Have you spoken to our claims team to get a present position on your claim? If not you can reach them on 0345 078 3860. Our claims lines are open Monday to Friday 8am-8pm, and Saturday 9am-5pm.


I agree with Neil76. My simple and modest claim was submitted in January and we've heard nothing since. Shabby service.
