Can I request a balance transfer to my Tesco Bank credit card online?

Yes. You can request to transfer a balance during the online credit card application process. You can transfer up to 95% of your credit limit but you won’t be able to transfer a balance between Tesco Bank credit cards.

If you're already a cardholder, you can log in to Online Banking and request a balance transfer online. Once logged in, click on your account and then select Manage account.

Select Transfer a balance from another credit card from the Manage your account page.

Complete the card number for the account you're reducing the balance of. This is the large 16 digit number across the front of your other bank's credit card.

Enter the amount you want to transfer. Please note you don't need a promotional code.

If you're happy with the fees payable and the Terms and Conditions, click Continue. Confirm and Submit your balance transfer details and take a note of your reference number in case you need to contact us about your balance transfer.

You can also request a balance transfer via the Mobile App. Once logged in, select Account Management and then Balance transfer and follow the on screen instructions. Our Mobile App will also tell you the fees applied for Balance transfers.

I can not see "Manage Account" only my overview, there is no Manage Account option on the right hand side of the screen. I've tried IE and Chrome but both the same.

Hi @BigEasy, sorry you're having trouble. When you're on your account overview, you should click the arrow in the box containing your account. You will then see "Manage account" in a white button, which will then take you to "Manage your account". I hope this helps :) - Caroline
