What fees can I expect to pay with my mortgage?

When you apply for a Tesco Bank Mortgage you’ll have to pay a booking fee and you may have to pay a product fee depending on what product you choose.  There are a number of other fees you may have to pay when you are taking out your mortgage and when your mortgage is set up. These fees can cover the costs of:

• Valuing your property
• Making changes to your mortgage
• Additional services for your mortgage
• Missing a payment.
The fees and charges noted above are set out clearly in our Tariff of Charges.

You can view our Tariff of Charges PDF.

There are also other fees, such as stamp duty and legal fees, to think about before you apply for a mortgage. For more information on fees and charges visit “Mortgage fees and charges” at http://www.tescobank.com/mortgages/fees-and-charges/

Hi there,

Is it possible to add fees such as stamp duty onto the mortgage? For example, if im approved to borrow £270,000 and i find a property for £250,000, could i add the fees on to the property price and pay a 5% deposit on the total cost?

Many thanks,

Alex

Hi @Alex2212, thanks for getting in touch. I've checked, and fees such as stamp duty cannot be added to the mortgage. You can borrow up to 95% LTV, however the fees cannot be added to the purchase price. I hope that helps, but please come back to us if you have any other questions.
