How do I add a payee in the mobile app?

Adding a payee in the mobile banking app is simple. Please follow these instructions:

 

1. Head to the Move Money section and then select Payments.

 

2. On this screen you will see a ‘+’ icon that will take you to the add payee process. On iOS this can be found in your payee list, and on Android this can be found in the top right hand corner of the screen.

 

3. Next you will need to fill out your new payee’s full name, nickname, sort code and account number.

 

4. Press Add Payee and that’s you finished. You can make a payment to your new payee immediately and you can come back and delete your payee at any time by pressing the trashcan icon on the payments screen.

 

If you have a savings account, you can only add new linked accounts using Online Banking

I have the latest version of the Tesco Banking app on my Android Phone and on my iPad mini.

 

I can log in and see my savings accounts OK on both deveices. The Android app shows my linked account and lets me transfer funds from my savings account to / from that linked account. The iPad iOS app does not show any linked account and there is no option for adding a linked account or moving money. Why doesn't the IOS app let me transfer money to my linked account?

Hi @sc489, I'm really sorry to hear this. I've had a look and can confirm that you're able to transfer funds using an iOS device. I'm unsure why this isn't allowing you to do this, however, if you call our Online Helpdesk anytime on 0345 300 3511 (24/7) they'll be able to assist you further.
