How long will it take to get my loan?

If you apply online, we try to give an instant decision. If you’ve been approved, we will either send you some paperwork to check and sign, or if possible you may be able to sign your loan agreement digitally. We’ll then use Faster Payments to send the money directly to your bank account. This can take up to 48 hours and the money can be withdrawn as soon as the funds reach your account.


If you apply over the phone or we require some supporting documentation, it may take between 5 – 10 days for us to check everything is ok. Once we make a final decision, if approved we will send a loan agreement for you to sign and return. As we try to do this as quickly as possible, we do not send an acknowledgment email or letter, but will inform you as soon as a decision has been made. Once this is processed, we will use Faster Payments to send the money to your account.


If you gave us your mobile number during your application we will send a text when the funds have been sent to your account, followed by a welcome letter.


Please note that it is currently taking 5 - 6 days to make decisions on referrals. We are working hard to make these decisions quicker, but please bear this in mind before contacting us for an update. Thank you for your patience. 


Should you need more information or have any questions, please call us on 0345 600 6016 (Monday to Friday 8am – 10pm and 9am – 5pm Saturday & Sunday). This number may be included as part of any inclusive call minutes provided by your phone operator.


Hi.  Are you able to give me an update on my loan application? 


Can you help me with the status of my loan.  Have tried to telephone a number of times but high volume of calls and cannot wait on the line.  

I'm afraid we can only provide general information, but I've replied to your private message with as much information as I can go into.


I have returned the signed agreement and accompanied them with other documents. This was last wednesday. As yet Ive not had formal confirmation of accpetance. I read that referrals are taking 5-6 days at the moment. Please advise how and when I can expect an answer



Hi @marcdjacobs, the 5 - 6 working days would apply from when we received the documents back. If accepted we would disperse the loan within 48 hours. I hope this clarifies things for you - Ross


Hi @RossM it kind of does. Firstly the documents would have been received last week on wednesday i.e.15th. We are now on day 5 and as yet nothing. Regardless of outcome how would this be communicated to me? I dont have a problem with the 48 hours is just the length having to wait for confirmation

Depending on the application we would make contact either via post, text or phone call. I apologise that I'm not able to be more specific on the timescale, we deal with applications in date order and will be in touch in due course.

if I have signed form digitally , will I get any confirmation when money will be transferred? 

I have all contract agreement on my phone .
