How long will it take to get my loan?

If you apply online, you’ll get an immediate decision and, if eligible, can digitally sign your loan agreement with us. We’ll then use Faster Payments to send the money directly to your bank account, usually on the same day, and the money can be withdrawn as soon as the funds reach your account.

 

If you apply over the phone, or if we require some supporting documentation, it may take between 5-10 days for us to check everything is ok and make a final decision. Once we make a final decision, we’ll use Faster Payments to send the money directly to your bank account, usually on the same day, and you can withdraw the money as soon as the funds reach your account.

@Travey67 We can't update that for you over Your Community or Social media, but if you give our Loans team a call we'll be able to arrange this for you - they're available 8am - 10pm through the week, and 9am - 5pm at weekends on 0345 600 6016. Alternatively, when the loan is confirmed, you can register for online banking and update the mobile number on the account there :)

Hi, I applied for a loan online a week ago and have heard nothing since. What is the normal process? I know that I got a confirmation stating that the application had been recorded and this was seen on my Tesco online account page.

I cannot send a Private Message as there is no facility to do so on the Private Message page:  I have applied for a load, it has been accepted and then nothing, no email, no paperwork etc.  I am concerned something has gone wrong and or my loan has been paid someone else account. Please help.

Please send a message with your full name, DOB and postcode to @CET so we can check the application. Don't include the @ symbol when putting in the contact details via private message, just CET. After an application, correspondence is sent by post so I should be able to see when you should expect to hear from us.

 

For details like your DOB and postcode, we ask for you to format it with additional spaces, i.e. A B 1 2 C D and 2 4 1 0 2 0 1 6 otherwise the information is removed by the system.

Hi. I applied for a loan at 3pm yesterday and the application was approved and it said I would receive a message shortly relating to some final checks but have heard nothing. I was wondering how long this would normally take?

I'm sorry to hear that! Can you please send us a private message on either Twitter or Facebook and provide your full name, DOB and postcode for us along with some more information plus a screenshot of the message if possible so that we can further investigate this for you. 

 

@DJW1, if we had some final checks to complete then we'll be in touch via text message (if you provided a mobile number) to keep you updated! The documentation will then be sent in the post for you and if we need a signature or any further information from you this will all be included in the pack! im posting my documents today via Royal Mail special delivery which should arrive tomorrow morning, if accepted is there a chance I could receive my loan funds Saturday?
