How long will it take to get my loan?

If you apply online, you’ll get an immediate decision and, if eligible, can digitally sign your loan agreement with us. We’ll then use Faster Payments to send the money directly to your bank account, usually on the same day, and the money can be withdrawn as soon as the funds reach your account.


If you apply over the phone, or if we require some supporting documentation, it may take between 5-10 days for us to check everything is ok and make a final decision. Once we make a final decision, we’ll use Faster Payments to send the money directly to your bank account, usually on the same day, and you can withdraw the money as soon as the funds reach your account.

Aplieed for a loan about a month ago, didn't get an instant reply but was ask to send some doc. twice. Received back some of them last week but still no decision regarding my loan. How long does it take? Thank you 



Heya! I applied for a loan 3 days ago but I still haven't  heard if it's been approved yet? how do I get an update?

Hi @rachaellou82, sorry that you've not yet had an update on your loan application. We can take a look at this and advise of the timescales for your loan if you give us a call on 0345 307 3425 between 8am - 10pm through the week and 9am - 5pm at weekends. If we need to take any further information then we can also do this when you call. 


@MariaJ23, once we've received the documentation we will send you a decision on your application within 3 - 6 working days. If it has been longer than this, please give us a call on the number that I've mentioned above.


Hi @RossM been more than a month that applied for the loan, send all doc. was asked for, received some of them back about 2 weeks ago, called the number you gave and the answear was it's the wrong one to call for that kind of information and he didn't know any other. Meanwhile been more than a month and still no information. thank you

Hi @RossM I already called that number and the answear was it's the wrong department but couldn't give me any more information so don't know what to do. I would appreciate if you can help me thank you

I applied for a loan yesterday morning online. I was told it was succesful, processed and suggested that it would be in my account in the next 24 hrs.

This does not seem to have happened. How do I find out if there has been a problem?



I received text messages to say my loan application had been accepted and to sign and return the documents. I haven't received any documents. Can these be sent to me through email?

Hi @chews, once your account has been opened it can take up to 48 hours for the funds to reach your account. If you still haven’t received the funds please give our team a call on 0345 600 6016, available Mon – Fri 8am – 10pm and weekends 9am – 5pm, so we can have a look into this for you.
