How do I close my Internet Saver Account?

If you want to close your account please telephone us on 0345 678 5678* or write to us at Tesco Bank, PO Box 27017, Broadway One, Glasgow, G2 9FH.

We can close your account immediately and repay the balance to you. This can be sent to your chosen account, along with any outstanding interest.

 

Calls may be recorded. *This number may be included as part of any inclusive call minutes provided by your phone operator.

..... but, despite my pointing out that a part of your website is still publishing incorrect hours, all you've done is to apologise for the inconvenience and left the incorrect information up on the website. I'd like to believe you can do better than this but you're beginning to convince me you can't!

@TheMan, it is confirmed on our website that our call centre is working at reduced hours. I've linked the page below which confirms this and gives you a link to the reduced hours. If you could please provide a link to where the incorrect information is, we can certainly have a look at amending that - Caroline

I do not want to ring to close my account. Time consuming. Many posts about this dating back a fair way. Why are you not listening to your customers?

Hi @Pal48, sorry to hear you're looking to close your account. The quickest way to get the account closed is to give us a call on 0345 678 5678 (Mon - Fri: 8am - 6pm, Sat - Sun: 9am - 2pm) and our team can close it for you straight away.

 

Alternatively, you can also send a letter with your details and signature to Tesco Bank, PO Box 27017, Glasgow, G2 9FH to close the account by post. Just so you know, if you need to close your joint account, either party can do this. If you want to remove an account holder, both account holders need to be present when calling and pass security.
