You can request a new PIN or a reminder if you forget your current PIN online or by phone. Online Log in to Online Banking and select Manage account from the Online Banking Overview. Select the account name, above the sort code and account number on the Account Overview, then choose Request PIN reminder from the menu. Enter the last four digits of your card number and choose whether you want to get a new PIN or a reminder of your existing PIN. You'll receive your PIN number within 2 - 3 working days by post. You can move money into your account in the following ways: 1. In store - Use your Instant Access Savings Account card to pay cash and cheques in at the Customer Service Desk in selected UK stores. For availability please see Banking in Tesco Stores. 2. Tesco Bank Online Banking - make one-off payments into your Account or set up a Direct Debit to make regular deposits. Once you’ve logged in, you’ll see the Online Banking Overview. Select the ‘Manage’ button beside your account summary to go to your Account Overview. Click on ‘Move my Money’ then ‘Money in’ from the menu on the left hand side, and choose how you’d like to move money. 3. Tesco Bank Telephone Banking - just call 0345 678 5678* and one of the savings team will be happy to help you. Make one-off payments into your Account from your Linked Account or other Tesco Bank Accounts in your name. From your current account - contact your current account provider or use their online banking service to make one-off payments into your Account or set up a Standing Order to make regular payments. You can move money out of your Account: In Tesco stores - Use your Instant Access Savings Account card to withdraw up to £100 a day at the checkout and £500 a day at the customer service desk in selected Tesco stores in the UK (for availability please see Banking in Tesco Stores) At any Tesco or LINK cash machine - You can withdraw up to £300 a day using your Instant Access Savings Account card and PIN Tesco Bank Online Banking - You can move up to £10,000 a day to Linked Accounts and other non-Tesco Bank accounts in the UK and up to £100,000 a day to other Tesco Bank accounts Tesco Bank Telephone Banking - Call us on 0345 678 5678* to withdraw larger amounts. Interest is calculated daily and paid monthly or annually, whichever you prefer. Interest will be paid on the last day of the month if you selected monthly interest and on the last day in April if you selected annual interest.
Faster Payments are fully supported by Tesco Bank. Therefore if the Bank or Building Society to which you are sending the money also uses the Faster Payments system, the money will be transferred to that account within hours. Please note: daily withdrawal limits apply. See withdrawal limits for Instant Access Savings Accounts. Refer to the relevant Savings account Summary Box on this website for further information about daily withdrawal limits. When you use Online Banking you can only transfer money to accounts that can accept Faster Payments. You can check if the Bank or Building Society you are sending money to supports Faster Payments either by asking them, or by visiting the Sort Code Checker on the public website of the Payments Council. If the Bank or Building Society does not use the Faster Payments Service we will ask you to call us and we will give you the option to transfer the money using CHAPS or we can send you a cheque from your Account. CHAPS payments requested by 1.30pm on a Business Day will be made on the same Business Day. If you ask us to make the transfer after 1.30pm on a Business Day or on a non-Business Day we will treat your instruction as having been received at the beginning of the next Business Day and this is when we will start processing it. A Business Day is any day from Monday to Friday which is not a bank holiday in England and Wales.
Yes. You can deposit cheques at the Customer Service Desk in selected UK Tesco stores (for availability please see Banking in Tesco Stores). The cheque must be made payable to the person named on the savings card and include your Instant Access Savings Account number and sort code.
We will post a statement to you each June and also make one available in Online Banking. If you are registered for Online Banking, you can switch off paper statements at any time by selecting 'My Preferences'. You can also view your transactions in Online Banking at any time.
You can activate your card for your Instant Access Savings Account by logging in to Online Banking. Once logged in, select ‘Manage Account' On your Account Overview, choose ‘Other Services’ from the menu In the Account Services box, you’ll find a link to ‘Activate your new card’ Enter the last 4 digits of the long number on the front of your card to complete your activation
