How do I cancel my policy?

We are sorry you are considering cancelling your Home Insurance policy.


If you need to cancel your policy, please call Customer Services. Alternatively, you can write to us via Freepost RSJB-RZZY-HTJB, Tesco Bank Customer Service, P.O. Box 276, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE12 2BT.


Fees will be charged to cancel your policy. Please refer to your Policy document for full details.


Hi @MICKSUE16, sorry you've seen an increase in your premium this year. Occasionally you can see cheaper prices with Tesco Bank online, this is due to an online discount and different underwriters quoting. If all of the details on the new quote are the same, we will match the lower price for you. If you call our Car Insurance team, they can check this for you. They're available on 0345 246 2895 (Mon - Fri: 9am - 6pm, Sat: 9am - 2pm). If it's home insurance, the number is 0345 246 2904 (Mon - Fri: 9am - 6pm, Sat: 9am - 2pm).


If you don't want to call, we can cancel your renewal and you could set up a new policy online. If you want us to arrange that, please send us a private message to Tesco-Bank.

Just checked my contents renewal policy and despite not making any claims, my premium has increased by 55% in only 2 years!!! I know that I should have checked the renewal in advance but I think this is appalling . Shame on you Tesco

Our underwriters regularly review their rates, which means premiums can increase even when no individual details have changed.
