Am I entitled to Tesco Clubcard Points when I buy Tesco Home Insurance?

No, we do not offer points on every pound you spend on your Tesco Home Insurance premium. However, our Clubcard customers do get a guaranteed discount on the policy.

 

For Value, Standard and Finest policies the discount applies only to buildings and/or contents cover.  For Tesco Bank Home Insurance available from 15 May 2013 the discount does not apply to Home Emergency Cover and Family Legal Guard.

I bought a Tesco Home Insurance Policy that started on 10th February 2017.   I cannot find any pokicy details on my laptop.

 

Would you be kind enough to send them out again please.

I bought home insurance last week, which has not yet started. Your emails said if I supplied my clubcard details I would get 10% off, which I did, and a free £30 Tesco gift card, (with contents and buildings together,) but there is no mention of the gift card since I signed up. I have joined this community as I can see no other way of contacting you by text/email and there seems to be no contact between your insurance department and those sending out the emails, since I am still receiving emails to take out home insurance. Can you tell me if this gift card is included automatically, (since I did not go through a comparison web site, as was stated in the conditions,) or should I just cancel within the 14 day’s and start again?

Hi @jack61, thanks for getting in touch. Tesco gift cards usually take between 6-8 weeks to arrive in the post. I apologise if this wasn't communicated to you at the time. If you send us a private message, including your full name, DOB and postcode to @CET we can make sure that the gift card was applied. Please make sure you format it with additional spaces, i.e. A B 1 2 C D and 2 4 1 0 2 0 1 6, otherwise the information is removed by the system. I hope this helps.
