Help With Monarch Airlines

Credit and debit card customers who have booked flights with Monarch from 15th December 2016 onwards can file a claim for a refund. Please send a copy of your invoice and booking details to disputes@tescobank.com including your full name and postcode in the subject line and we will progress your claim as soon as possible.

 

Customers who booked on or before 14th December 2016 will need to claim directly with ATOL or the CAA.

 

We will be contacting all customers individually to provide an update on their claim in the coming days.

I emailed as soon as Monarch collapsed and am still waiting to hear from Tesco Bank. left in limbo

RossM. I am absolutely disgusted that after 8 days since my claim I have heard nothing whatever from Tesco. I can well understand that you have a lot to deal with but I cannot accept the lack of any response . I have been a Tesco customer for many years but after this I will have to reconsider my options.

I'm really sorry to read that you're unhappy with how long the process is taking @DonW. We have a number of customers who are impacted by the closure of Monarch and we're working hard to help everyone as quickly as possible. I can see that you've also sent us a message on Facebook, a member of our team will be able to discuss this further with you via your private messages.

I had to pay the hotel for my holiday before i left, I paid with tesco credit card, do I claim with this card to CAA? Help!!!

Thank you for arranging to refund the money for Monarch flights. Sorry I was impatient.

Taking advice from Martin Lewis money savings expert, I used his suggested template letter to make a claim for a refund on my credit card, filled in my appropriate details and sent it recorded delivery to your Credit Card Operations address in Glasgow, along with copies of my Monarch booking invoice and credit card statement showing the transaction.  I then noticed on your website that you were asking for claims to be made online to your dispute department.  I have contacted this department by email, asking if you had received my original claim, and did you require me to make another claim online.  I have had an automated response saying the email was received, but as yet have had no reply from you as to whether my claim is proceeding, and I have not had any response from your Glasgow address.   Please can you help so that I know if I need to make another claim online. Many thanks for your help.

Hi @Lindalour72, I'm sorry you haven't heard back from us yet. We've received a very large number of claims in regards to Monarch's administration and are working very hard to process these. I can't confirm if your claim is being processed although you can call our customer service team on 0345 300 4278 (Mon - Fri: 8am - 6pm, Sat - Sun: 9am - 2pm) and my colleagues can have a look into this for you - John

I'm getting worried as I cant get through to dispute team re- Monarch, and I have not heard anything from you  I have a bill of £1800 to pay soon and I have to find that money from somewhere, can someone please tell me how my claim is progressing!

I have managed to get through to this number eventually, and have been told to input the details again online. Thank for your help.
