I booked and paid for a Thomas Cook flight to Skiathos using my Tesco Credit card. I understand that I can get a refund for this. However I also paid for the hotel (non-refundable) using my credit card and now I am finding it difficult to find flights to the island as they are very limited and now twice the price. Would I be able to claim back the cost of the hotel?
Hi @cerimorgan45, thanks for getting in touch. If you're ATOL protected, I'm afraid we are unable to process your claim. If this applies to yourself, you would need to log your claim with The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
If you're not ATOL protected,we can process your claim if you send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. In the email please include the copy of your invoice, the booking details, your Tesco Bank card number and the names of all of the travelers. Due to the large volume of claims we have received, we don't have a timescale for this at the moment, I'm afraid. I hope this helps.
