Letter - We need to confirm your email address

Hi,

My OH and joint account holder has received a letter, "We need to confirm your email address"

Thought this was odd so he checked on Online banking that it is correct in there - which it is, and hasn't changed recently.

 

Remembered seeing other similar threads on here previously, such as;

These threads don't help as he's using an iCloud address, so obviously can't be related to email provider.

He also doesn't want to waste money ringing the chargeable call centre when Online Banking area shows the correct address (it hasn't changed).

 

Should he just disregard the letter?

Hi @TraceAT, I'm sorry to hear that you'e having problems with this, could you please send a message to @CET with your full name, email address, DOB and postcode just so we can check this for you? When passing on your details, please insert a space between each character (apart from your name).
