Tesco charged me in the first month a late payment charge despite being the second credit card on the account a DD being set up on the original one, at no time did they say to set up a new DD
I set up my DD and payments were going through then I suddenly started acruing interest, no warning at all. This is appalling service and I have since paid the card off in full as Tesco were taking out such a ridiculous amount of money.
Can someone please assist as this interest should not have been paid
Hi @gemsyg, sorry to hear about the confusion with your accounts. From what you've written, it sounds like your new account didn't have a direct debit set up on it, is that right? Direct debits need to be set up per account rather than per person, as the dates and payment amounts will differ.
