As I am changing banks at about the same time as my monthly direct debit would be due I paid on 29/12 using my debit card to make sure the payment was made. On 3/1 the direct bebit was taken so have ended up paying twice.
As it was not a very large payment and I have to pay for any phone calls I will just let it ride. On the subject of phone calls is it not about time Tesco introduced a secure message system like all other banks that I deal with have. For people like me who make very few phone calls it is not worth paying a monthly fee for "free calls" so often you end up paying just to listen to music and being told how important your call is.
