Debit Cards and Apple Pay

For the love of god. When is your bank going to drag itself into the 21st century and activate Apple Pay on its debit cards. Every other UK bank is on it except yours. You have the systems in place for the credit cards / mastercards and the infrustructure for the debit card is identical. What is taking your bank so long to get this switched on. Instead of the usual " Its coming but dont know when" response which is absolutely no use whatsoever, go and ask a senior bod and come back with something a bit more meaty in response.

We just wanted to give you an update on where we are right now with Apple Pay and current accounts.

You'll be happy to know that we’re working on it! Our debit cards are Visa, so we need to put in place different technology for current accounts to support Apple Pay. We can’t commit to a specific date yet, but rest assured we want to make banking easier for you, and we will let you know here soon in Community once the plans are more final.

I hope that helps, and we can't wait to get you set up on your iPhones and Apple Watch (or am I the only person still using one?!)
