Fixed Rate Saver

Can I withdraw money from a Fixed Rate Saver?

No. The Fixed Rate Saver offers a fixed rate of interest for a fixed term, but does not allow any early access other than in exceptional circumstances (death, diagnosis of a terminal illness or, bankruptcy, insolvency or sequestration).

If you need to access your money due to exceptional circumstances, we will pay the balance on your account to you and the account will be closed. You will not be charged for this.

And is an exceptional circumstance when one has been disgusted about the way your bank manage things towards its customers?

You should add up this important thing into your internal rules as well as then you could avoid being brought into disrepute!

Hi @donecek333, I'm sorry to hear this. If you could please private message @Tesco-Bank with details on what's happened along with your full name, DOB and postcode, I'll be able to have a look into this for you - Caroline
