Fixed Rate Saver

Can I apply for a Fixed Rate Saver online?

Yes, you can apply for a Fixed Rate Saver online. You’ll need to be a UK resident, aged 18 or over and have details of the bank account you’d like to have your interest paid into.

I’ve given up , I think you stand more chance of winning the lottery than applying for a savings account

Hi @Sq831, I'm sorry to hear this. So I can help, can you please confirm which issues you've had when trying to apply online? - Christina

I did apply online and the process went successfully up to the end but after waiting for a too long time I asked on Twitter where is my application for the Fixed Rate Saver online just to get to know that there is no application on my name...

Well, it might be taken a bit seriously isn't it?

Hi donecek333, I'm really sorry about this. If you would like to discuss this further, please call our Savings Team on 0345 678 5678 (Monday to Friday 8am-10pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm).

Hi KelganM, thank you very much for your response.

Please, I think this unfortunate half-backed matter should be discussed and also have fixed up at the Tesco bank decision-makers at first.

I do say by a very common sense that all the internal money transfers between two Tesco bank accounts have to be set up and working without any daily limits or restrictions! Otherwise, then we can see such desperations as at my Tesco bank online banking where I have to use any possible ways on how to fund up my new FIXED RATE SAVER account to get all the required money in.

It's absolutely funny view on all of my Tesco bank accounts just now and also it's an unprofessional job done by Tesco bank at all!

@donecek333 I'm sorry to hear you are unsatisfied with the way in which we we operate our Fixed Rate Saver accounts and our internal transfer limits. I will record your feedback on this to be considered for future improvements.

Joel, thank you very much.

Once the Tesco bank will improve that nonsense so certainly, they will do a big step forward in the banking industry.
