If using Online Banking:
I have a new current account. I have just activated the debit card and tried to pay some money into the account using on-line banking. I prefer the larger screen on my laptop compared swith a phone.
However have just had a text saying I need to activate the card as the payment has been returned.
What do I do now?
Hi VL, I'm really sorry to hear this. So we can resolve this please call us on 0345 835 3353, advisors are available 24/7.
The same thing has just happened to me today, exactly as above from VL
Hi @alw99, sorry to hear that. Please give us a call on the number listed above we will see how we can help you activate the card and transfer funds.
Where's the manage button
Hi @Aj60, the "Manage Account" button is directly under your balance on the front page when you login. Hope this helps
Not sure where to ask this, I've received my pin code letter and when I tried to slowly peel back the label as per instructions, it just peeled by itself and remained transparent?Should I try to use some cello tape or just order a pin replacement?
Yes, it's pretty transparent but the 4 digits are very faintly on the tab. I found it very difficult to see it. I found that rather than looking through the tab, you place it directly on top of a clear white part of the letter and press down then the numbers are more clearly visible.
The 'to reveal your number' box in the PIN notification letter for my Tesco savings account tells you to reveal the numbers in this way but I didn't think it did so for my Tesco current account (but I've since destroyed the letter).
How do I activate a joint account? I have managed my card but can not seem to do my partners.
Hi @cazb80, to activate a joint account the primary and secondary account holder will need to do this separately. The secondary account holder can activate their card online or by calling. If they would prefer to activate their card online, they will need to register for online banking, and then follow the steps in the above FAQ. Or alternatively then can call our Current Account team on 0345 835 3353, available 24/7 and they will be more than happy to help.
