Why is there interest charged in the Balance Transfer section when the Balance Transfer amount is zero?

The interest relates to a Balance Transfer which was carried out before the start of this Annual Statement period. The statement period start and end dates, can be found in the top right hand corner of your Annual Statement.

I'm thinking of transferring a balance FROM my Tesco credit card to another card as a one-off. Is there any charge associated with doing this and how is this done?

Hi @Beaker-CT, we don't charge you at all, the other bank may charge you a fee to perform a balance transfer and they will be able to give more information about that. To perform a balance transfer you would contact your bank and request them to perform this transaction, they will then send us the amount you have stated and the transaction will be complete on our end. A balance transfer is essentially a lump sum payment going from one credit card to another, it shouldn't be too complicated but if you need any more help then don't hesitate to contact us Robot Happy

Why can I only balance transfer a quarter of my credit limit?

Hi @Lozol77, thanks for getting in touch. You can balance transfer up to 95% of your available credit. If you don't believe that the available credit is correct then please give our customer service team a call on 0345 300 4278 (24/7), so we can look into this further - Ross

i have an available balance of £83.48 but my current balance is saying £0.00

Hi @james198200, I'm sorry to hear that. This can happen if we're awaiting a payment clearing. However, if you can call our customer service team a call on 0345 300 4278 (24/7), so we can look into this further - Ross

I have just looked at my statement & its showing interest which I shouldnt be paying, can you tell me why please?

Hi @Suzyab, I would need to look at your account to check this. Please click @CET and then at the top right there is a green button that says 'Send Message'. You can send us your DOB and postcode and we can have a look at your account. Please ensure all personal details are sent with a space between each of the characters – L I K E T H I S.

You also have the option to contact us on our Twitter or Facebook pages to arrange this. Alternatively you can give our team a call on 0345 300 4278 (24/7) should you not find this page suitable. I hope this helps.
