What is a Late Payment fee?

We’re doing everything we can to help and support customers who have been affected by COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Read our latest customer update for more details.

It’s really important you pay at least your minimum payment on time and by your payment due date. This date is clearly shown on your monthly statement and the mobile app. Otherwise you will be charged a late payment fee and potentially incur interest too.

You’ll pay interest on this fee 28 days from when we tell you that the fee has been charged. Interest will be charged at the rate we charge for purchases, and you won’t pay any interest on the interest.

How can we help?
To avoid this why not set up an alert via Online Banking to remind you of your due date so you will never forget again?

Hello. I am late with my payment.

I have literally just come back after sorting out a very close family bereavement and have not paid this month.

This has never happened before. Please would it be possible to make two payments on the 31st October when I get paid which in total will be 600 pounds.

This is very exceptional circumstances and I hope that i can sort this out with you.

Thank you Luke Thomas

I have also set up a direct debit again so this will never happen in the future.
