How do I activate my Tesco Bank Credit Card?

Once you have received your card, the easiest way to activate it is via our Mobile Banking App. Just download the app to your phone and it will guide you through the process.

Alternatively, you can call us to activate your card. You will be asked to enter your 16 digit credit card number so please have this ready. If you’ve already registered for Online Banking you will also need to enter selected digits from your Security Number. If there are additional card holders on the account then this will also activate their cards.

If you're not already registered for Online Banking, then please follow these instructions.

Calls may be recorded. *This number may be included as part of any inclusive call minutes provided by your phone operator.

I can't ring Tesco Bank because l am deaf.

My sister rang you two weeks ago in Tesco at the Ridge.

She wait more than 10 minutes in the  a queue get through no luck

Got letter said Our card monitoring have identified unusual activity on your credit card.

Could you please get in touch with us as soon as possible to discuss You can call us 0345 300 4278 - on letter said .

What is the problem ?

I paid my tesco credit yesterday 4th December 2018.


Two weeks ago l use my  Tesco credit card at Tesco at the Ridge - Hastings it work. 

Tonight 5th December 2018 l want to buy something on website and use my Tesco credit card but said declined.

Hi I'm trying to log in to my online banking for the first time although it is asking me for a one time security code although for that number I no longer have it as I lost that phone ( pay as you go sim) my new number is **sensitive info removed**3.
