Not receiving One Time Access Code from abroad

I'm trying to access my bank account from my laptop while I'm in America but Tesco is asking for a One time access code which can only be sent to my UK mobile phone number.

My UK phone has a giffgaff sim card, all topped up with a goodybag and even £10 credit to recieve text, has been sat right next to me for 30+ mins, still no text...

 

Is there any reason why I'm not able to recieve this text?

 

I have no problem accessing my bank using my mobile app, it's just the desktop app which I'm having troubles with.

Hi @shanensicely, I'm sorry to hear you're not receiving the text. We can't guarantee this will come through when you're abroad, I'm afraid. Could you please message us directly at Tesco-Bank with your full name, DOB and postcode so we can take a closer look?
