If your travel plans are cancelled or affected

My flight or holiday has been cancelled due to COVID-19, what can I do?

If the merchant is offering a refund, we would first ask you to allow them an opportunity to refund your credit card before getting in touch.

If they are not offering a refund, or you have been referred to your card issuer to make a claim, we may be able to reimburse you. Please download and complete our dispute form.

 

What if I choose not to travel due to COVID-19?

As the merchant has not cancelled and the service is still available, we are unable to raise a dispute. Please contact the merchant directly to discuss a refund.

You may also want to contact your travel provider or insurance company for further information or assistance.

 

What happens if my flight is cancelled and refunded however my hotel is still available and not offering a refund?

You need to contact the hotel and/or your travel insurance to discuss a refund.
If they are not offering a refund, or you have been referred to your card issuer to make a claim, we may be able to reimburse you. Please download and complete our dispute form.

If you’re worried about any future travel plans please contact the company you booked with.

 

What happens if the government tells me not to travel?

If the government issues guidance advising against travel, the airline will likely cancel the flight

Am due to go on holiday Tue 17th Aug but due to FCO guideline against travelling to our holiday destination we tried to claim a refund from on the beach, was told we can't have refund but can amend dates to next year and then the following day was told we cant amend dates!

Have raised a chargeback but have further information I wish to send to you, including emails from on the beach and the PACKAGE TRAVEL REGULATION from their own web-site which clearly states if the government advise you not to travel you will be offered a full refund.

is there a e-mail address I can send this information to?

We are due to fly to Fuerteventura Tue with onthebeach we don't wish to fly due to the FCO guidelines advising not to travel (if we did it would make our insurance invalid) yet otb will not refund the flights as Ryan air still going ahead (such a great company) I found the PACKAGE TRAVEL REGULATION from otb own web-site which clearly states If the government advises against travel you will be offered a full refund.

I have contacted otb several times to ask to either changes dates to next year or a full refund and I have had no response what so ever.

I have raised a chargeback for the full amount would it help if I was to send in the emails from otb plus the form stating we would get a full refund?

Hi @jack2805, as much information as possible will always help. Can you send a private message to @Tesco-Bank with your full name, DOB and postcode so I can check what would be the easiest way to get this information to us?

Completed the form a month ago at least,  on the website,  but haven't heard from anyone in the disputes team or even had a confirmation that my claim was submitted. Even Travel-Up have stopped sending their BS emails...
