You can cancel your breakdown cover at anytime by contacting us.
If you cancel your breakdown policy within 14 days of receiving your policy documentation, then we will refund the cost of your cover providing no claims have been made.
If you cancel your breakdown policy after 14 days, there is no refund and if you pay monthly, the rest of the premium must be paid.
If you have recently upgraded your breakdown cover, you do not get a 14-day cooling off period and should you wish to cancel, normal cancellation charges will apply as outlined above.
Yes, RAC would recover both your vehicle and your caravan (provided no more than 7.6 metres long) or trailer.
If the carvan or trailer breaks down, for example gets a flat tyre or broken axle, this would not be covered. RAC may ask for a payment for the additional service.
