How do I cancel my policy?

You can cancel your policy at any time by calling us on 0330 022 2202*. Cancellation can take effect immediately or from a later date. Cancellation cannot be backdated to an earlier date.

Provided you have not made a claim, or one has not been made against you, you will be entitled to receive a refund of premium including any premium paid for Top up Miles, less:

  • a charge on a proportionate basis for the period of policy cover that you have already received, or the miles used, which ever amount is higher; and

  • a cancellation charge as shown in the policy documentation and online, please be aware this would apply in the 14 day cooling off period as well.

Calls may be recorded. *This number may be included as part of any inclusive call minutes provided by your phone operator.

WOW just rang to get a quote for my new car unfortunately I was quoted an extra £400 for a smaller engined standard vehicle. (Had quotes £200 cheaper than i am currently paying with tesxo so a total saving of £600) When I asked to cancel I was told I would have to pay for 12 months breakdown cover but would not be allowed to use it. I was also quoted £10 more than it says on the website as a cancellation fee. Buyer beware this is a disgraceful practice.
