Changing Joint Account to Personal Account

Hi, I am getting divorced and would like my husband removed from the joint account so it is mine alone. Please can someone advise how i go about this? Many thanks.

The best thing is to send Tesco Bank a private message to check the best way for this to be done.
Click on this link Tesco-Bank then scroll down, on the left hand side click 'Send Private Message'.
Complete it and send your message securely and privately.
Please include your full name, date of birth and postcode along with details.
You will receive a reply to your private message with an appropriate response.

I see RossM has replied to your query and has suggested you telephone the team on 0345 600 6016 (Mon - Fri: 8am - 8pm Sat - Sun: 9am - 2pm) as they'll need to speak with you.

TB will actually need to speak to both parties to remove a person from an account. Also any overdraft you have may need to be reassessed as account will just be yours now.
