credit card changing to mastercard, will direct debit be updated?

I've had a letter saying my Tesco credit card will be changing to a Mastercard soon. It doesn't say anything about whether the direct debit I use to pay it will be updated for the new account/card number or whether I need to do it myself. Do you know please?

When your Tesco credit card changes to a Mastercard Tesco Bank will update your information to the new card.
This will be your direct debit as well as other details they have connected to your old credit card.
So nothing for you to do yourself 😀
