Hey Everyone,
With it being Burns Night I’d really like to hear if any members of the Community will be celebrating the occasion with any Scottish traditions?
I always make an effort every year to commemorate our National Poet by making a ‘Burns Supper’ of haggis, neeps and tatties. This always feels like a treat as I only have it once a year! Also feels quite nostalgic for me as it brings back some fond childhood memories of Scottish dances and reciting poems; my personal favourite being ‘To a Mouse.’
Will anyone be doing a Highland Fling, reciting some poetry or addressing the haggis? 😊
Do you need some help?

Hi Kelly @KellyT
Not something I will be doing, sorry!!
It does remind me of when I attended a Round Table themed Burn's Night dinner though.
I bought a Stewart Tartan and red taffeta gown especially for the occasion.
Burn's Supper was what we had to eat and therewas lots of singing, dancing and poem's recited too.
How lovely that you put the effort in every year Kelly 😀
Have a lovely evening, Caz @25H -

Before I sit down to my haggis, neeps and tatties tonight @KellyT I will be saying...
Some hae meat and canna eat,
And some wad eat that want it;
But we hae meat, and we can eat,
Sae let the Lord be thankit.
All the homeschooling today was on Burns and my son and I had a great wee time :)
